Penrith residents are encouraged to celebrate the positive role seniors play in the community by nominating them for the 2025 NSW Seniors Festival Local Achievement Awards.

If you know a senior who helps make our community diverse, inspiring and active, then I encourage you to nominate them for acknowledgement of their contribution.

Nominations are now open for the awards program, one of many initiatives the NSW Government promotes to support the state’s seniors living happy, healthy, and active lives.

Nominations close at 12:00noon on Friday, 28 February 2025.

Winners of the Local Achievement Awards will be announced during the NSW Seniors Festival which runs from 3 to 16 March.
