Penrith Bus Passenger Forum
When: Thursday 15 February 2024, 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Venue: Penrith RSL, 8 Tindale St, Penrith NSW 2750

The Bus Industry Taskforce is inviting members of the public and representatives from community groups, local businesses, and non-government organisations to share their thoughts and suggestions on improving bus services in the Penrith region. With over 30 bus services in operation across the Penrith electorate and over 500 residents using these services daily, the Bus Passenger Forum provides an opportunity for Penrith’s residents to directly impact the future of local bus services.


Key Focus Areas:
• Service delivery and asset management models
• Service planning and community engagement
• Infrastructure and technology for effective service delivery
• Employment arrangements for key personnel
• Retrofitting seat belts on school buses and potential expansion
• Recommendations for Australian Design Rules for buses and coaches
• Bus and coach operator safety management systems

How to Participate:
• Drop by the Penrith RSL on 15 February 2024 between 6pm and 8pm.
• Share feedback on trip planning, bus stops, service operations, and more.
• Engage with representatives from the Bus Industry Taskforce and Transport NSW.
• Subject matter experts will be available to answer your questions.
