Wishing all our students, teachers, and support staff in Penrith the very best start for the new academic year – a year of fun and growth.

Whether it’s the first or final stages of your school education, I hope everyone has a happy and successful start to the school year.

We know that many families are doing it tough, today I visited Braddock Public School and Kingswood South Public School to deliver vital necessities, where all items were generously donated by Penrith CBD Corporation and Kym’s Cutting Gallery and her clients.

These items consisted of various stationary items including pens, erasers, notebooks, water bottles, socks, backpacks, and other key items including food.

The Minns Labor Government is working to rebuild public education across our State. We have committed a record $8.9 billion investment to deliver new and upgraded schools across the state, including $3.6 billion for Western Sydney to give our students the best start in life.

Member for Penrith, Karen McKeown OAM MP said:

"I look forward to visiting more of our local Penrith schools and working with community on how we can improve our quality public education.”
