While volunteers are the backbone of our community - giving, sharing, and sparing their time to help out - they often go unnoticed.
The Penrith Volunteer of the Year is an annual program that allows me to recognise and celebrate the contributions of volunteers in the Penrith electorate.
Nominations
This year I am opening up nominations to the public. Who do you think should be Penrith's Volunteer of the Year for 2025?
Submit your nomination by completing this secure Microsoft form. Nominations can only be submitted via the online form and close on Friday, 16 May, 2025 at 11:59pm.
The nomination requires nominators to provide a short description outlining why the nominees contributions to the Penrith community in the last 11 months make them Penrith's Volunteer of the Year. I will then finalise the list and select 2025's winner for Penrith who will go on to be nominated for the 2025 NSW Volunteer of the Year Awards.

Q. Are the NSW Volunteer of the Year Awards different to Penrith's Volunteer of the Year Award?
A. Yes. The NSW Volunteer of the Year Awards is separate to the Penrith Volunteer of the Year Award. The NSW Volunteer of the Year Awards in which the recipient of Penrith's Volunteer of the Year Award will be nominated by the MP for accreditation in the state-wide program.
